After the market, more cultural pursuits, and we set off to visit
Lalbagh Fort

sadly though it was closed as it was a public holiday
but we went to get a view - by the adjoining mosque
to be honest we really enjoyed watching the boys and young men playing with kites, and cricket far more than seeing an old building!

Armenian Church - an Oasis of calm and shade (plus an all important loo stop)
Closeby was the
Star Mosque - a sight to see since most mosques are so plain.
