Even though it was an incredibly quiet day traffic wise, the streets in old Dhaka are very narrow - and we got stuck unmoving behind a large truck, which couldn't move as a police truck wanted to pass, and there was also an overturned bike cart and goods
oh and snacks of course - Dad was amazed that carrots, and cucumbers (with chilli of course) are a popular snack food
Ahsan Manzil was a peculiar tourist attraction. Popular with locals as a place to hang out in a park (lots of young couples), dress up in your Sunday best and take photos. Inside (no cameras allowed) a dusty collection of fairly random "old stuff" from Dhaka
