Bhutan - Paro - Dhaka

The flight is delayed so instead of 8.00 we have to be at the airport at 12.00. Time for a little extra outing.

A little look at the archery. They should over a big distance, about 125 meters if I'm not mistaken. The target is a wooden plank with a circle of no more than 20 cm. It's the national sport, so of course there are teams, competitions, prizes....

You have to start young
Two little friends

No pictures from the palace here, but had to show this one

Don't know what he is doing to that tiger

The national dress is obligatary if you go into government buildings, banks and other offical buildings. In temples etc. are even stricter dresscodes.

Again this starts young

Taxidrivers dress up, you never know where you have to go

Just some pictures around Paro town

The guide and the driver

Surreal

Nearring Dhaka again

We had a fantastic time - it was the complete opposite of Dhaka in so many ways.
