As a Holland promotion the embassy organised a fashion show of the Dutch company Vlisco with drinks sponsored by Heineken.
Vlisco is very well known in Africa and hardly in The Netherlands. Their material known as Dutch wax is five times the price of local material, but you can see the difference.
Heineken is here for three years now, but is finally taking off. Not a big deal for us, but we are pleased with the Heineken own softdrink branch 'Royal Club'; finally some choice among which our favorites Ginger ale and bitter lemon.
The show was a mix of dance, song and of course fashion. My colleagues daughter designed some of the dresses, he can be proud.
