in response to anonymous comment, Rwanda (i.e Kigali) is increasingly taking on western commercial holidays, Christmas / Valentines etc and celebrating them.

in typical Rwandan style its all a bit last minute - I saw this in a supermarket today - I was last there on Wednesday and there was no sign of all these beautiful gifts



I wonder how long they will be available, our big supermarket has had chocolate in fancy boxes for a couple of weeks already,..but in saying that the christmas decorations are still in the store (and not at reduced prices)
