Parental visit part 3; Shrimangal

We took the early train to Shrimangal. We booked six seats so we had the whole coupe for the four of us. On a train journey there is always something to see, even before you set off.

Some activity really close to the tracks. People live here

Still keeping in touch with mama

Just outside Shrimangal is a nature park; Baikka Beel.
It is sponsored by USAID. These wetlands are full of birds and the sunset is lovely.

The day after we went hiking in Lawachara national park. This could be could a tropical forest. The spiders are not so nice, but we did see monkeys and heard the gibbons.

These cutees live next to our hotel

Rubber plantation

One of the many and fast tea plantations in this area

The end of the day, the ladies bring their tea to the weighing station.

On our way to Sylhet to fly home
